Welsh soccer player Ramsey has boosted the reward for details concerning the vanished pet named Halo to £15,000.
Ex- Arsenal and Cardiff City player, who currently represents Pumas UNAM in the capital, mentioned that Halo was spotted in San Miguel de Allende, located in the Guanajuato zone.
The beagle, who vanished on 9 October, was equipped with a dog tracker collar, and the footballer published a map pinpoint of her last known location.
"Any sort of updates concerning our beloved Halo please get in touch with us. Big incentive for locating her. We are all wishing she's ok and will return to our family quickly," Ramsey posted on Instagram.
The footballer initially revealed that his dog had gone missing a fortnight back and has since shared numerous pictures of the adored pet on his social media account.
A seven thousand five hundred pound bounty was originally offered, but with no news on Halo's status after a seven days, Ramsey and his family doubled the reward.
"Our only wish is our girl back," he said in an additional request on his online platforms after the decade-old pet went missing.
A recent picture upload is a grayscale image of Halo napping, her head lying in the curve of Ramsey's elbow, with the description: "What I wouldn't give to embrace you once more sweet Halo."
The footballer has also circulated a note from his spouse Mrs. Ramsey on online channels mentioning they have a few "important questions" about the incident and worry the household "may never receive clarity".
"To this day we have not located our dog. I fear we will," his wife's post stated.
The Welsh captain joined Mexican premier club Club Universidad Nacional in recent months and had his first appearance in Liga MX in the eighth month.
Born in Caerphilly athlete is the first well-known British Isles player to play in the Mexican league.
